Ohio Court Docket is a private reference site, not a court or clerk's office. It cannot change a hearing, issue a certified copy, or look up a local case on a reader's behalf. The court that holds the case or its clerk can answer those questions. Ohio has statewide searches for Supreme Court and Court of Claims matters, but ordinary county trial dockets remain in local court systems.

This Is Not a Court or Government Office. Ohio Court Docket is privately operated. It cannot retrieve an official case file, change a setting, remove or seal a record, issue a certified copy, or provide legal advice. Direct those requests to the court or clerk that holds the case.

Need an Official Docket or Record?

Match the question to the office or system that keeps the record:

  • A county trial docket: use the Ohio county directory to open the local court or clerk portal for the court named on the case paper.
  • A hearing date: check the Ohio court dates information, then confirm the current setting with the court coordinator.
  • A certified copy: ask the clerk or court that keeps the file; the directory helps locate the proper county court hub.
  • A Supreme Court case: use the case lookup instructions for the Supreme Court of Ohio ECMS, which covers only high-court matters.
  • A Court of Claims case: search the Ohio Court of Claims Odyssey Portal, which is statewide for that court alone.
  • Ohio court structure: the court system page explains the trial-court tiers and separate record custodians.

For most trial-level cases, the full docket and any certified copies come from the local custodian, not a single statewide search service. Contact details and available request methods differ by county and court.
